What we send, and how it is screened

For credit officers and business development officers at institutions on our panel. This page is here so you can check us before you reply.

The submission

What arrives

ItemWhat it means in practiceStandard
A normalised packageOne format, every time: business, structure, sponsor, sources and uses, and the adjustments stated openly rather than buried in a spreadsheet tab.Consistent
A named decision-makerThe person who signs, with their role and their authority, not a broker standing between you and them.Reachable
A stated structureWhat we think the transaction supports and why, so you are reacting to a proposal rather than reverse-engineering one.Explicit
Parallel submission, disclosedDeals go to two or three institutions at once and every one of them is told so. You are never the stalking horse without knowing it.Two or three
Outcomes written backFunded, declined, withdrawn and why, recorded against the deal. We measure our own funding rate by lender and we will show you yours.Measured

Screening

What we decline before you see it

An approved application that never funds costs you real underwriting money and gains us nothing. We would rather send fewer and have them close, which is why a submission has already failed a coverage test at a conservative rate, had its adjustments checked against the accounts, and had the sponsor's equity confirmed before it reaches you.

If a transaction does not clear that internally, it does not get sent. We will tell the borrower why, which is a harder conversation than forwarding it to you and letting you have it.

Fees

The policy, stated plainly

Our referral fee is identical across every lender on the panel and is disclosed to the borrower. Ranking cannot be purchased.

There is no pay-to-rank tier, no preferred placement and no volume rebate, and there never will be. Any fee paid by or on behalf of a borrower is disclosed to the borrower and on the relevant federal form where one applies.

We do not take a referral fee on a financing that funds a transaction in which we act as adviser to the seller.

Being paid by both sides of the same table is not a conflict to be managed. It is one to be refused.

We do not make credit decisions, participate in them, or represent any influence over them. Nothing here is an offer of finance or a commitment by any party.

Joining the panel

A ten-deal pilot, at no cost

The honest way to evaluate a new source is to take ten and measure what funds. We will send ten submissions on the terms above, with no fee arrangement in place, and at the end of it you will have a funding rate rather than a pitch. If it is not better than your current channel, there is nothing further to discuss and no relationship to unwind.
